Optical Dynamics Named 2010 Hot Dozen company
Louisville, Kentucky. October 11th, 2010 - Optical Dynamics, innovators in ophthalmics and transparent nanocomposites, has been named a 2010 Hot Dozen company by GLI's ENTERPRISECORP. The Hot Dozen is an annual celebration of 12 locally-owned companies who have benefited from Louisville's entrepreneurial atmosphere and continue to thrive in our region. The companies represent innovation and entrepreneurship in Louisville's business community.

Optical Dynamics' ophthalmic equipment is in use in over 30 countries. Their nanoCLEAR anti-reflective coating system received a Nanotech Briefs Nano 50 Award for its significant impact in state of the art nanotechnology. Their newest research is currently funded by the NSF, DOE, and KSTC.
